Our Gentle Staff:
Carrie Thornton - Dental Assistant.
Carrie has been with The Gentle Dentist since 2003. She received much of her dental training from the US Navy. Carrie recently completed her Bachelors Degree in Business and hopes to become an Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) in the near future. Carrie has two boys in elementary school.
Debbie Ulliman - EFDA Dental Assistant.
Debbie has been with The Gentle Dentist since 2005. She has been in the dental field for over 25 years and has worked in general dentistry as well as orthodontics. Debbie was one of the first EFDA's to graduate from The Ohio State University EFDA program which allows her to place fillings. Debbie and her husband enjoy camping with their 2 young sons.
Lisa Justice - EFDA Dental Assistant.
Lisa has been with The Gentle Dentist since 1999. She did leave us for 2 years and has recently rejoined our staff. Lisa has a lot of experience in the CAD fabrication of "same day" crowns and in orthodontics. Lisa is planning on attending Dental Laboratory school in the fall and hopes to open her own dental lab in the future. She lives in Pickerington and has a high school age son and grown daughter.
Missy Shipley - Dental Assistant.
Missy has been with The Gentle Dentist since 2004. Missy has worked as a dental assistant as well as a front desk administrator. She has taken the classes to become an EFDA Dental Assistant and hopes to achieve that certification in the near future. Missy and her husband live in Lewis Center and have a college age son.
Gina Moran - Dental Assistant.
Gina has been with The Gentle Dentist since 2010. She was an intern at our office while she was in dental assisting school and we were so impressed with her work ethic that we offered her a job upon graduation. Gina hopes to become an EFDA Dental Assistant in the future. She lives in Johnstown and has a son and a daughter.
Kim O'Grady - Dental Assistant and Insurance Coordinator.
Kim has been with The Gentle Dentist since 2006. She has been in the dental field for over 30 years having worked as a dental assistant, office manager, and dental consultant. Kim has two grown sons and "pet sits" in her spare time.
Kristen Coulman Hamill - Business Office.
Kristen is the daughter of the founder of The Gentle Dentist, Dr. Bill Coulman. Kristen has a Bachelors Degree from Ohio State University and a Law Degree from Capital University Law School. Kristen is married and has one young son named William.
Jane Coulman - Practice Manager.
Jane was married to the founder of The Gentle Dentist, Dr. Bill Coulman for over 26 years. Together they built the practice and she continues to run the business aspects of the practice. She has a Bachelors Degree from The Ohio State University and spent 15 years in sales in the computer industry before Bill graduated from dental school. She has two daughters, Kristen and Lauren.
Kristina Brown - Business Office.
Kristina has been with The Gentle Dentist since 2008. Kristina graduated from Thomas Worthington High School and spent 3 years in Customer Service with Charles Penzone. Kristina is married and expecting her first child in early 2011.
Kelly Peck - Dental Hygienist.
Kelly has been with The Gentle Dentist since 2003. Kelly graduated from West Liberty University in West Virginia. Kelly is married and expecting her first child in October 2010.
Kelly Bruns - Dental Hygienist.
Kelly has been with The Gentle Dentist since 2009. She graduated from The Ohio State University and is from St. Henry, Ohio. Kelly is going to be married in the spring of 2011.
Holly Brownlee - Dental Hygienist.
Holly has been with The Gentle Dentist since 2001. She graduated from The Ohio State University. Holly is originally from Bryon, Ohio and now lives in New Albany with her husband and young son.
Lisa Baker - Dental Hygienist.
Lisa has been with The Gentle Dentist since 2001. She also graduated from The Ohio State University and has also taught dental hygiene at OSU as well. Lisa lives with her husband Kyle and daughter Grace in Worthington Hills.
