Founded by the late Dr. Bill Coulman in 1991, Coulman Dental-now known as The Gentle Dentist-continues Dr. Coulman's legacy of quality, gentle dental care today. Dr. Coulman loved dentistry and loved people, and he assembled a staff of friendly, enthusiastic professionals who felt the same way. Patients quickly recognized the gentle approach that set our practice apart from others in the central Ohio area and began referring to Coulman Dental as The Gentle Dentist. So we decided to adopt the name!
Much of Coulman Dental's original staff is still with The Gentle Dentist today. Our staff strives to provide high quality, gentle dental care in an enjoyable, relaxed environment. We make a special effort to take care of the apprehensive dental patient, and we do all we can to put each patient at ease the moment he or she walks through the door.

We make it easy to visit The Gentle Dentist. We offer more available appointment times than any other dental practice in central Ohio, and we run on time-to the minute! Because we have five full time dentists and many wonderful, gentle dental hygienists, a family of five or six can be seen at the same time, and your entire family can be in and out of the dentist in about an hour!
