Dr. Bill Coulman
The founder of "The Gentle Dentist", Dr.
Bill, started his career as a Dental Lab Technician in 1978, graduated from OSU Dental Hygiene program in 1980, and
the OSU College of Dentistry in 1991. Dr. Coulman had been involved in extensive training that enabled him to offer orthodontics to our patients. He was a family man with two daughters, a Commander in the U.S. Navy, and enjoyed antique cars, boats, motorcycles, airplanes, and all "big boy toys"! Sadly, Dr. Coulman was suddenly killed in an airplane crash on July 24, 2005. He is greatly missed by all who knew him, however, his legacy of gentle dentistry lives on! |

Dr. Missy Baker
Dr. Missy graduated from OSU College of Dentistry in 1993. She also
attended Miami University and graduated the University of Cincinnati
in Dental Hygiene in 1983. Dr. Missy does beautiful cosmetic dentistry. She is married to Tim
Lindeman, a golf professional, and is the mother of twins, Jack and
Lily. |

Dr. Brooke Fox
Dr. Brooke is originally from Charleston, West Virginia. Dr. Brooke received her undergraduate degree in Biology from West Virginia Wesleyan College. She graduated from West Virginia School of Dentistry. In her spare time, Dr. Brooke enjoys reading, playing tennis and other outdoor activities. Dr. Brooke is married to Andrew Fox, a design engineer with Honda and they currently reside in Powell. |

Dr. Lori Cronin
Dr. Cronin received her degree in Dental Hygiene from Shawnee State University, where she graduated number one in her class! Dr. Cronin became good friends with Dr. Baker and Dr. Coulman when all 3 attended OSU College of Dentistry. Dr. Cronin comes to us from Lancaster, OH where she has practiced dentistry for the last 13 years! Dr. Cronin performs orthodontics on adults and children. In her spare time, Dr. Cronin enjoys baking, shopping, traveling and playing with Serena, her Maltese. |

Dr. Jim McCray
Dr. Jim graduated from Miami University in 1990 and from OSU College of Dentistry in 1994. Dr. Jim loves being a dentist because of the opportunity it gives him to interact with different people as well as the diversity of the profession. Dr. Jim volunteers extensively with his church. He also enjoys reading and outdoor activities. |

Dr. Shayer Shah
Dr. Shayer is originally from Mt. Gilead, Ohio. He graduated from OSU with a bachelor’s degree and recieved his doctoral degree from NYU College of Dentistry. Most recently, Dr. Shayer completed a General Practice Residency at The Ohio State University Medical Center. Dr. Shayer enjoys golf, football, and fine dining. His motto: "Never Fear the Dentist Again!" |

EFDA (Expanded Functions Dental Auxiliary)
As a highly valued member of the dental team, expanded-function dental
auxiliaries (EFDAs) work in conjunction with our Doctors to provide the
highest quality dental care. Because of their advanced training and
certifications, EFDA's are able to place fillings and sealants for our
patients. To be certified as an EFDA, a dental assistant must have
completed 160 hours of additional instruction, including 80 hours of clinical experience, and they must pass the Ohio State Dental Board's designated examination for expanded function dental auxiliaries.

Dental Hygienist
Our hygienists are an important part of the dental care team. They are the front line defense in aiding our patients in maintaining good dental health. The hygienists will review a comprehensive medical oral history, check blood pressure, take cavity detecting and cancer screening x-rays, educate patients on how to brush and floss properly. Our dental hygienists have an average of 10 years experience

All of our doctors complete 40 hours of continuing education credits every 2 years. All of our E.F.D.A.'s, Dental Assistants and Hygienists complete 12 continuing education credits each year. They are certified in Dental Radiology and CPR and are current on all OSHA requirements.
